Even though there was some rain about during Friday practice, the weekend turned out to be perfect and the track looked absolutely amazing.

The new track surface seemed to rubber in really well as the weekend progressed and we saw some great racing across all participating classes – especially in the action packed Cadet classes.

We tried the new out-grid display which provided drivers with a near real-time grid positioning system published directly from the race tower. It was great to see drivers eagerly hanging around the display waiting for the Final grid positions to be pushed out on Sunday morning :)

With 12 classes to get through, we managed to complete all the qualifying and heat events by 5PM on Saturday. All that was left were the Finals on a glorious Sunday morning.

Congratulations to everyone involved – drivers, pit crew, canteen staff, KWA Officials, TKC Officials and Committee, race commentator and everyone else who all contributed to a brilliant event.
