TKC App FAQ's and How-To's

FAQ:

1> Do I need to register to use the TKC app?

If you just want to view the practice calendar and supp regs, then No.
But if you want to receive important notifications, updates and run practice sessions at one of our tracks then registration is required. The app gives registered members access to the online KAC checklist for easy completion and submission.

2> How do I register?

Registration is free and done through the Stack Team App platform.
All you need is your email address and KOMP ID to register.
NOTE:
You may be asked to enter personal details like your DoB, phone number etc. but that’s a Stack Team requirement and not a TKC one.
Except for your name, email address and KOMP ID, leave all personal info spaces blank because we don’t need it.

PLEASE
– choose a strong passphrase and don’t use the same one as you use on Facebook!

3> Why do you need my KOMP ID?

Your KOMP ID is used to add you to the appropriate access groups in the app. If you are a KAC then you’ll automatically be added to the KAC access group which gives you access to the KAC checklist for easy completion and submission.

4> Does the TKC App replace the supp regs found on the Karting WA site?

No. All official information such as the supp regs will still be available on the Karting WA website. The TKC app is just an easier and more convenient way of accessing that information from a centralised location.

5> I’m not a TKC member but attend TKC race meetings and practice sessions. Can I still use the TKC app to view practice session and race schedules?

Yes! It’s only the chat feature that will remain private and accessible by TKC members.

6> I am a qualified KAC but not a TKC member. Can I use the TKC app to run a practice session at a TKC track?

Yes, but you will need to register as a Non-TKC member on the app and enter both your KAC and Working with Children Check numbers if you want to run a practice session at one of our tracks. The app gives registered members access to the online KAC checklist for easy completion and submission.

7> Why do you need my KAC and WWCC ID numbers if I’m a non-TKC member?

We only have access to the KOMP details of TKC members. If you are a member at another club but want to run a practice session at one of our tracks then we need to make sure you are eligible to do so. We’ll cross-check your KOMP details with the State Secretary. It is the duty of the TKC Club Committee to ensure we adhere to KA regulations and rules.
